Recently, after an 18-year journey with a local internet company, I found myself at a crossroads. Balancing my day job with my night-time coding and gaming sessions was a challenge I relished. However, life had other plans, and I found myself stepping away from my long-term career. It was a tough pill to swallow, especially with a loving family of three and a home to care for.
